Meet Alex.

Called “outstanding” and “hilarious” by critics, Alex Mansoori has been hailed as “solid and convincing” and “smartly characterized” by The New York Times. Specializing in character tenor roles, Alex's varied repertoire runs the gamut from Handel and Mozart to Bernstein and Sondheim. He is a proud multidisciplinary artist who is equally at home on the operatic or concert stage, in the theater, or at theme parks including Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort, where he currently appears in Tales of Beadle the BardThis season, Alex joins Central City Opera as the Jester in Once Upon a Mattress and returns to Opera Orlando as the Kronprinz in Silent Night, having most recently appeared with the company in Defiant Requiem. In recent seasons, he returned to Opera Colorado for Pang in Puccini’s Turandot and appeared with Central Florida Vocal Arts in their production of A Little Night Music as Fredrik Egerman. He has performed with organizations across the globe including The Santa Fe Opera, Tanglewood Music Festival, Seattle OperaThe Dallas OperaEdinburgh Fringe FestivalThe New York Philharmonic, and more.
